With grace, we extend a guiding hand, ushering attendees to their designated seats, embracing the privilege to serve in this capacity.  Additionally, we extend our assistance by distributing essential elements such as programs, fans, and tissues, sharing in the thoughtful details that enhance the worship experience.

As the dedicated Membership Coordinator, our role encompasses fostering a strong sense of belonging within our church family. With genuine care and diligence, we extend a warm embrace to new members, guiding them on their journey of integration through the completion of the New Members Orientation.

Central to our service is the meticulous recording of our congregation, capturing the essence of each individual's commitment. In our faithful stewardship, we ensure that the Clerk is kept apprised of any updates, affirming the accuracy and completeness of our membership records.

Our devotion extends beyond mere administration, as we proactively engage with our existing members. A vigilant eye is cast upon the ebb and flow of fellowship, and should any member find themselves distanced, our outreach is swift and compassionate. We extend a hand of connection to those who may be unwell, providing solace and support during their times of physical challenge.

As devoted members of the Media Ministry, we stand at the forefront of ushering the divine message through the realm of technology. Our multifaceted roles are a testament to our commitment to enhancing the worship experience for our congregation.

With nimble hands and technical prowess, we oversee an array of equipment which includes cameras, computers, microphones, and more. Our harmonious collaboration with the Minister of Music ensures a symphony of exceptional sound quality, where every note and word resonate with clarity and purpose. In our pursuit of audio excellence, we meticulously navigate the intricate circuitry and soundboards, skillfully minimizing feedback and enhancing the audio experience.

Through our ministry, we facilitate live streaming to extend the reach of our worship to a broader audience. With precision and artistry, we orchestrate sound effects that punctuate the sermons over the pulpit as well as sacred moments, harmonizing with the rhythm of the service. The music that flows through the sanctuary finds its cadence under our guidance, evoking emotions that uplift and inspire.

Beyond the sanctuary, our influence extends to the digital realm. As we manage and modify our social media accounts and website, we harness the power of virtual platforms to amplify the message of Christ's love and teachings. Our digital presence resonates with the same devotion that fills our physical gatherings, fostering connection and outreach in the digital age.

In our dedication to this ministry, we transcend the boundaries of technology, weaving a tapestry where faith and innovation unite. This is a harmonious fusion, where the spiritual and the technical converge create an immersive worship experience that touches hearts and uplifts souls.

Amidst the challenges brought by the current circumstances, our commitment to education and spiritual growth remains steadfast. While several classes find themselves temporarily paused due to the effects of COVID, our dedication continues to shine brightly through our active Bible Study sessions.

Our Bible Study is held very Wednesday at 6pm, through our virtual conference calls which become portals of knowledge and enlightenment. As part of the dynamic Education Department, our classes are enriched by a diverse array of dedicated teachers, each bringing their unique insights to our shared journey of discovery.

​

In our collective pursuit of wisdom, there is a beautiful fluidity. The exchange of knowledge is a harmonious dance, as teachers occasionally trade roles to guide our eager minds through the tapestry of scripture and spiritual understanding. Through this exchange, we not only gain deeper insights but also foster a sense of camaraderie that resonates with the spirit of unity.

Vacation Bible School continues to be a beacon of light, and an opportunity to infuse the hearts and minds of our youth and adults with the transformative teachings of the Gospel. Our lesson plans are carefully crafted, with topics assigned to us by divine providence. However, within this structure, we are granted the freedom to let our creativity flourish, turning the lessons into living experiences that resonate deeply with our students.

In every class, in every moment of shared exploration, we find solace in the eternal truth that education is a journey that knows no bounds. Whether through virtual platforms or within the walls of our sanctuary, we continue to forge a path of enlightenment, kindling the flame of curiosity, and nurturing the flame of faith. In our dedication, we illuminate the way forward, inspired by the unbreakable spirit of learning and growth.

As faithful stewards of pastoral care, our role as Pastor's Aides is rooted in a profound dedication to ensuring the pastor's comfort and seamless ministry. With a heart full of servanthood, we stand as a steady and supportive presence, anticipating and meeting the needs that allow our pastor to fulfill his sacred calling.

From the moment of preparation to the final echoes of his message, we stand as vigilant attendants, tending to the pastor's well-being. A refreshing glass of water, a soothing cup of tea, or a dry cloth to ensure his comfort are offerings we extend with care and attentiveness. Our attentiveness extends to visiting guest ministers as well, ensuring that their needs are equally met, and they feel welcomed and supported.

In the moments of the invitation to Christ, where hearts may be moved to approach the altar, we step into a guiding role. With grace and compassion, we offer our presence, escorting those who seek a closer connection to the divine, serving as a bridge between their spiritual longing and the sacred space of the altar.

As the faithful steward of administrative order, the role of the Church Clerk carries the weight of great responsibility. Within the record-keeping, we diligently preserve the sacred tapestry of our congregation's journey, ensuring that every milestone, every connection, is etched into the annals of history.

Our duties encompass a vast expanse, from safeguarding certificates of baptism, Christening, and marriage, to compiling and maintaining comprehensive profiles of our members. With pen in hand, we capture the essence of church meetings, translating discussions into enduring minutes that form a foundation for informed decision-making and unity. In this act of recording, we honor the diverse voices that shape our church's path.

Our creativity finds expression in the form of bulletins, which carry the voices of announcements and reflections to the ears and hearts of the congregation.

Whether through preaching, teaching, or guiding the congregation in the opening devotion, we embody the spirit of Christ's message, nurturing the spiritual growth of our church family.

In the presence of the altar, we act as a protective forcefield around the pastor, shielding him from adversities and facilitating an environment where his ministry can thrive. This guardianship extends to our congregational members as well, as we offer support to ease any burdens and facilitate a smoother path for the pastor's connection with the congregation.

During communion, we become sacred vessels, humbly extending the Body of Christ to our fellow worshippers, fostering a deeper connection to the Most High.  The deaconesses assume the sacred responsibility of preparing the communion for the significant occasion of the first Sundays. In this role, we embody the essence of service and reverence, ensuring that the spiritual significance of communion is preserved and elevated.

In every act we undertake, we stand as bridges between the spiritual and the practical. Through our service, we embody Christ's call to servant leadership, creating an atmosphere where new members are welcomed, nurtured, and uplifted in their journey of faith.

As devoted Good Samaritans and compassionate caregivers, our ministry assumes a pivotal role within the church community. While we engage in lighthearted gestures such as providing water or Kleenex, our purpose goes far beyond the surface. With watchful eyes and hearts attuned to the congregation's well-being, we stand poised to offer crucial support to those in need of care.

As musicians in service to the divine harmony, our commitment lies in the pursuit of musical excellence. With unwavering dedication, we embark on a journey of mastering each composition to the best of our abilities, ensuring that our melodies resonate with the spirit of worship.

Our instruments become vessels of devotion, skillfully interweaving harmonies that elevate the worship experience. Each note, each rhythm, is carefully crafted to complement the sacred atmosphere of the service. While familiarity with sheet music is a valuable skill, our emphasis rests on the emotive connection we create through our instruments.

In our current ensemble, a drummer and bass player, unite their talents to create a dynamic symphony. Guided by the Minister of Music and the choir director, we harmonize our efforts to enhance the choir's anthems and the congregation's collective voice.

​

We extend a heartfelt invitation to all who are drawn to the melody, whether they wield a single instrument with mastery or multi-talented. Should you ever find the desire to learn a particular instrument, our talented musicians stand ready to guide you on your journey.

As members of the choir that grace our worship services, our commitment resonates with the soul-stirring power of praise and worship. United by our shared devotion, we recognize the significance of our individual roles in crafting melodies that transcend the ordinary, ushering the Holy Spirit into our midst.

Our rehearsals are held each Saturday, from 11:30am-12:30pm, as we diligently prepare ourselves for each worship service.  Each voice, each note, is a thread we weave into the rich tapestry of our collective performance.

​

With technology serves as our bridge, we connect through a private Facebook group where we access our songs and other important information to stay informed and united.

​

As we ascend the platform to sing, our purpose is twofold: to minister and uplift, and to offer a melody that resonates with divine glory. Our voices become vessels of transformation, instruments through which souls may be touched and hearts may find solace. In every note we utter, in every harmonious blend, we affirm the command to praise the Lord, a testament to the encompassing power of music in its truest form.

As keepers of our church's financial integrity, the Finance Committee undertakes a vital and sacred responsibility. Our commitment is unwavering as we diligently manage the financial affairs that sustain and nurture our ministry's mission.

With precision and care, we navigate the diverse channels through which blessings flow into our church – whether in the form of cash, checks, or online contributions. Through meticulous bookkeeping, every financial transaction is recorded and safeguarded, ensuring transparency and accountability in the stewardship of our resources.

At the heart of our role, we manage payable accounts, ensuring that our commitments are met in a timely and responsible manner. Guided by a spirit of prudence, we set budgets that serve as a roadmap for responsible spending, enabling our ministries to flourish and our outreach to thrive.

Our role extends to the physical act of stewardship, where each written check reflects our dedication to meeting our financial obligations and uplifting our ministries. With unwavering diligence, we uphold our commitment to fiscal responsibility, safeguarding the financial well-being of our church.

Amidst our responsibilities, we manage the keeping of government records and regulatory compliance. Our attention to detail ensures that all financial matters are managed with the utmost care and adherence to legal requirements.

As fine members of culinary hospitality, the Kitchen Committee assumes a pivotal role in enriching the communal spirit of our church gatherings. With a blend of skill and care, we orchestrate occasions when sustenance becomes a conduit for fellowship and shared joy.

Our duties encompass a spectrum of responsibilities, from proper food storage to the artful arrangement of tables. We ensure that every dish finds its place in a harmonious reflection of the warmth that permeates our congregation. Amidst the camaraderie of volunteers and caterers, we uphold standards of presentation and taste that honor our shared gatherings.

We have an unwavering commitment to hygiene and cleanliness. We transform the kitchen into a realm where culinary creations are handled and served with the utmost care. Adhering to best practices, we wear the appropriate protective gear, including aprons, gloves, and hair nets, embodying a dedication that extends beyond aesthetics to the realm of safety and well-being.

As the dedicated steward of the pastor's affairs, the role of the Pastor's Secretary is a tapestry of trust, efficiency, and unwavering support. Operating both within and beyond the church's walls, we stand as a pillar of assistance, ensuring that the pastor's responsibilities and commitments flow seamlessly.

Central to our role is the vow of confidentiality. With utmost discretion, we safeguard the pastor's personal and professional matters, nurturing an environment where trust flourishes.  We keep detailed records and manage files and documents that narrate the sacred moments of baptism, marriage, and more, honoring the milestones that mark the spiritual journey of our congregation.

Our stewardship extends to the orchestration of the pastor's calendar of significant events, meetings, and obligations. Through our careful planning, we ensure that the pastor is prepared, informed, and poised to serve with grace and efficiency.

In times of need, we stand as a steadfast extension of the pastor's hands, offering support in many ways. We may transcribe, translating thoughts into letters, messages, and communications that carry the pastor's wisdom and compassion. When circumstances require his absence, we step into the role of a recorder, capturing the essence of meetings and discussions, ensuring no thread of insight is lost.

As members of the Performing Arts Ministry, we are blessed with the remarkable gift of spiritual expression.  In the embrace of a musical note, a punch-line, or a graceful movement, we find a channel for our souls to reach out and connect to the Holy Spirit.  Our performances become stages where the timeless stories of the Bible come to life, where spiritual lessons find a modern resonance, and where dances of praise elevate our hearts in joyful exaltation.

Amidst this symphony of expression, we revel in the beauty of individuality and originality. Each member contributes their unique talent and their personal spark to the collective fire of inspiration. Through our offerings, we seek to not only uplift and encourage but to give glory to the Most High.
