We are delighted that you are considering joining our warm and loving Christian church family.  Here, at Mt. Calvary, we believe in extending open arms to individuals who are seeking to deepen their relationship with Christ and become an integral part of our congregation.  Below, we outline how you can embark on this meaningful journey with us.

 

Join us during one of our uplifting worship services.  Typically, when the Pulpit opens the doors of the church and extends an invitation to follow Christ, you will have the opportunity to step forward and signify your intention to join our community.  As you make your approach, a deacon, Pastor's aide, or the church clerk will address you promptly.  The pastor or current active minister from the pulpit will acknowledge you and instruct the officials to guide you through the process.  If you wish to join privately, then simply find a deacon, following our morning worship service.  The process will begin as follows:

1.  Speak with a Deacon:  Begin your journey by reaching out to one of our dedicated deacons.  These compassionate individuals are here to guide you, answer your questions, and provide the necessary information about our church community.

 

2.  Introduction to Membership Coordinator:  Following your conversation with the deacon, you will be introduced to our friendly membership coordinator.  This step allows us to connect with you on a more personal level, ensuring that you feel comfortable and supported throughout the process.

 

3.  Screening Process:  Our membership coordinator will walk you through a simple yet thorough 3-course screening process.  This helps us understand your motivations, beliefs, and desires as you embark on this journey of faith.

 

4.  Welcome and Acknowledgment:  Once you complete the screening process, you will be warmly welcomed into our congregation.  During a designated church service, your decision to follow Christ and join our church family may be acknowledged in front of the church congregation, marking the beginning of your new chapter.

 

5.  Membership Packet and Certificate:  As a heartfelt token of our appreciation, you will receive a membership packet and a certificate of membership. This packet includes valuable resources to help you grow spiritually and connect with fellow members.
